Tulipa Under Scrutiny in the Netherlands, AML Failures Cited
Tulipa has failed to carry out sufficient due diligence on customers and has thus breached the established licensee prerequisites to operate gambling products in the country. Tulipa also failed to keep proper documentation, which made subsequent investigation by the regulator all the more difficult. The AML guidelines utilized by the company were found to have lacked depth and to have been applied across the entire company rather than being tailored to individual specialists and departments.
