Two Players in a Row Won the Game’s Top Prize
November 18 was a somewhat dry day for jackpots in Florida as most of the state lottery’s draw games failed to crown a winner. While no one won the Cash4Life, Jackpot Triple Play or Mega Millions jackpot, one player managed to secure the Fantasy 5 top prize.
The win happened during the game’s evening drawing, when a lucky ticket matched all five winning numbers. For context, the winning numbers for the November 18 evening drawing were 11, 13, 17, 24, and 28.
As a result, the lucky winner secured the top prize, which stood at $102,889 at the time. Officials noted that the winning ticket was sold at Winn-Dixie, 450 E. Burleigh Blvd in Tavares.

On the very next drawing, another player succeeded in hitting the game’s top prize. The win in question happened during the Fantasy 5 midday drawing on November 19 when a player won the game’s top prize of $54,092. The winning ticket was sold at the Publix at Dames Point, 7117 Merrill Rd in Jacksonville.

For context, the winning numbers for the Wednesday midday drawing were 3, 6, 9, 10, and 19. The evening drawing, meanwhile, failed to elect a winner.
Players Across the US Win Big
The wins in Florida came several days after a player in Georgia made history by winning the $980 million Mega Millions jackpot. The lucky player has thus become the biggest lottery winner in the history of the state.
Following that, another player in Georgia won $4 million from the lottery after narrowly missing the next jackpot. As a result, the game’s top prize has continued to build up anew and is currently standing at $60 million with a cash value of $28 million.
Elsewhere, a couple from New Jersey won $3 million from a scratch-off ticket only six months after winning a $1 million prize from a separate game.
In Michigan, a woman secured a $1 million prize from a scratcher after buying a few tickets during a late-night food run.
