The Monday Powerball drawing has been another one without a jackpot winner. To say that it has been an uneventful drawing, however, would be untrue, since it saw two Match 5 and multiple tier-three wins.

Powerball Players in Florida and Georgia Win Big
The Monday Powerball drawing provided players with another shot at the jackpot, putting some $691 million on the line. If anyone had been able to match all five white numbers plus the red Powerball, they would have been able to pick either the annuity for the full sum or the one-time payment of $294.4 million.

Unfortunately for the players, such a win failed to materialize. For reference, the winning numbers drawn on October 26 were 18, 26, 49, 50, and 54, plus the red Powerball 1. The Power Play multiplier for that drawing was 3x.

As mentioned, the drawing saw two players match all five white numbers, only narrowly missing the nine-figure jackpot. As a result, each of these ticket-holders is now eligible to claim a $1 million payout. According to Powerball’s announcement, the two winners included a player in Florida and a player in Georgia.

In the meantime, seventeen others matched four white numbers plus the Powerball, winning tier-three prizes. Fourteen of these players won $50,000 each, while the remaining three won $150,000 each thanks to the Power Play feature and the 3x multiplier.

While the jackpot ultimately survived the drawing, players will get another chance to win it this Wednesday when the next drawing is set to take place. Current estimates put the jackpot for the October 29 drawing at $716 million with a cash option of $307.2 million.

Powerball Continues to Create New Millionaires
The drawing on Saturday, October 24, had no Match 5 winners, although it saw a staggering 30 players match four white numbers and the Powerball to win prizes ranging from $50,000 to $100,000.
The October 21 drawing, on the other hand, resulted in several big wins. This included a lucky player in New Jersey who won $1 million, as well as players in Ohio and Pennsylvania who won Match 5 + Power Play wins of $2 million.
Other recent Match 5 prizes happened in Michigan, where a player won $1 million from the game, and in Maryland, where a similar $1 million win happened.
