The company’s strong performance was underpinned by “excellent strategic progress in the Americas,” with strong contributions from the US and Canada where the company’s revenue shot up 160%. The company’s business in LATAM fared well, too.
As a result of the strong H1, Playtech believes that it is on track to deliver FY 2026 adjusted EBITDA of between EUR 250 and 300 million ($290.5-348.6 million), in line with earlier forecasts. The company added that it expects the actual figure to exceed EUR 270 million ($313.7 million).

CEO Weizer Was Pleased with the Performance

Weizer added that H1 was also a period of strategic growth that saw the company renew existing agreements and launch in new iGaming states. He was convinced that the company is poised for further growth in regulated and regulating markets.
Playtech Braces for Brazil Launch
Following the publication of the H1 results, Weizer also commented on Playtech’s plans to hit the Brazilian gaming market. He called Brazil a “key strategic market for the group” and emphasized that the company already has a local presence through its recently launched live casino studio in São Paulo.
While Weizer acknowledged that gambling remains a contentious issue in Brazil, he remained mostly optimistic about the market and said that the company hopes to launch there “by the beginning of, or at the beginning of, next year.”
